Tickets go on Sale Saturday, June 6th at Telus Field (10233 96 Avenue).
Doors open by 7 am and the ticket lottery cuts off by 8 am.
In Person Sales – A limit of six adult four-day passes and four adult single day/evening tickets per day per order. Youth and senior tickets are unlimited. Visa, MasterCard, debit card, and cash.

Through the Folk Festival Office – Sales limits per order: Maximum of 6 Adult Four day passes (Personal passes and/or Transferable) and 4 Adult Single day tickets of each day. Youth and Senior tickets are unlimited per order.
Through Ticketmaster (phone/kiosk/online) – Sales limits per order: Maximum 4 Adult Four day passes (Personal passes and/or Transferable) and 4 Adult Single day tickets of each day per household. Up to half of the 4-day passes will be allotted for in-person sales at the Folk Festival Office. The remaining 4-day passes will be allotted for online/phone sales at Ticketmaster.
ALL SALES ARE FINAL. NO REFUNDS/REPLACEMENTS – NO EXCHANGES/UPGRADES. PLEASE TREAT YOUR TICKETS LIKE CASH.
If you purchased your tickets through Ticketmaster, you must contact a Ticketmaster outlet to arrange for collection. Please note: after 12 noon on the Wednesday of the Festival week, Ticketmaster tickets will only be available at our On-Site Box Office (North Gate) during the hours posted for the On-Site Box Office.
Tickets not collected before the Wednesday of the festival week will be available at the On-site Box Office at the North Gate starting on the first day of the festival. If you are picking up tickets at the gate, please allow for extra time as there may be a lineup. Photo ID will be required, so if you wish to have someone else collect your tickets at the On-site Box Office, you will need to call our ticket office in advance to make arrangements.
Please check the box office hours below to ensure that the appropriate ticket/box office is open when you come to collect your tickets.

Folk Fest Ticket Office (10115-97 A Ave) for purchase of available tickets after June 6th and before the festival:
Monday through Friday from 9:30am – 5:00 pm.
(Ticket Office Closes the Wednesday before the festival at 7 pm).
Note: The ticket office will be open from 9:30 am – 5:00 pm on the Holiday Monday before the festival.
On-site Box Office (North Gate only) for collection of all remaining tickets during the Festival:Thursday: Noon – 10:00 pm Friday: Noon – 11:30 pm Saturday: 9:00 am – 11:30 pm Sunday: 9:00 am – 9:30 pm
GATE LOTTERY PROCEDURE (FOR FESTIVAL ENTRANCE)
A lottery will be in effect to determine priority entrance to the festival during the event. Please refer to the FAQ section for details.
SWAPBOARD WILL OPEN IN JULY.
Closing date for submissions to the Swapboard is the Wednesday before the festival at 7:00pm. The Swapboard will be deactivated and all posts removed on the Thursday of the festival at 10:00am. After that, you can check out the physical Swapboard located at the festival Main Gate(Next to the Box Office).
How to Post Your Tickets on the EFMF Swapboard
- Click the red ‘New Topic’ button (in the top left corner). You will need to log into Google to create a post.
- Create your post. Make sure to include:
- Your name
- Email address
- The tickets you have for sale and the asking price. Tickets can ONLY be sold at FACE VALUE plus service charges, if purchased online or through Ticketmaster.
- A Folk Fest or Ticketmaster confirmation number. You must include a confirmation number or your order will not be posted.
- Click the red ‘Post’ button (in the top left corner).
- You’re done! Please note that we moderate all posts, so your post will not appear immediately on the swapboard.
When you have sold your tickets, please contact the Box Office at 780-429-1999 or firstname.lastname@example.org to have your posting taken down.
Posts with tickets for sale will be displayed on the main page, below the welcome message. Just click on the post you are interested in to view it.
