Jon Brooks (Canada/ON) is unapologetically idealistic. In 2007 he released Ours and the Shepherds, a CD of Canadian war stories. Penguin Eggs deemed the CD a "thoroughly wonderful and important addition to the canon of Canadian Folk Music."
