Bill Bourne

Four decades of music making have been very kind to Bill Bourne. Well known in Alberta's music scene, Bill's influences encompass countless styles and cultures, and they can all be heard in his vast array of material. He weaves threads of blues, African highlife, Celtic, Cajun, swing, gospel, aboriginal, flamenco, and even the sitar through his music.

Bill has released 11 albums, both on his own and with artists such as Alan MacLeod, Scotland's The Tannahill Weavers and Shannon Johnson. His latest solo album, Sally's Dream, further proves the scope of his talent and imagination. He's also received a Juno Award, after having been nominated five times.

He continues to enthral audiences with his thought-provoking songs and his soulful musical style. Sit back and listen to his solid grooves, inspiring solos and free-form improvisations that both entertain hearts and enlighten minds.
