Laura Love

Armed with an electric bass and an incredible voice, Laura Love has gone from pop to grunge to Afro-Celtic, emerging with an exciting, joyful stage act.

She's been stealing shows at folk festivals across North America in recent years with her roots-influenced music spiced by powerful rhythms and Love's wild vocals. With three albums released on her own label, Love is making her first visit to the Edmonton Folk Festival this year. Joining Laura are: Julie Wolf, Rod Cook and Chris Leighton.
