Little did John Hammond know that a childhood spent listening to Howlin' Wolf and Muddy Waters would some day lead him to walk on the same stage with those blues giants.

A master of the Delta blues style, Hammond has moved with all the big names in the business and has performed on Hollywood soundtacks, including Little Big Man.

Now, after 30 years travelling the world with his National steel guitar, Hammond has recorded dozens of albums and is influencing the next generation of blues lovers. "Going with the blues, I knew it was forever," he says. "I knew that this is what I wanted to do for my life."
