Dar Williams

Dar Williams is a product of the New England folk scene who has gained a solid reputation on the strength of her songwriting, a three-octave voice, two albums and an extensive touring schedule.

She's garnered glowing reviews from just about everywhere, which credit her with acknowledging her folk roots, while drawing freely from alternative music as well. Other performers mentioned in the same breath are Ani DiFranco, Heather Nova and Beck.
