Blue Rodeo

Rodeo's return will offer a new look at one of Canada's most popular groups of the last 10 years. Many will recall that Blue Rodeo's first Festival appearance in the rains of 1994 came on the heels of the group's Five Days in July release.
Their 1996 appearance will follow a different type of album, Nowhere to Here. "The last album was very bright," says Greg Keelor, half of the band's songwriting team. "Then we spent two years on the road and our relationships and lives were changing."
Best known for their abilities to synthesize country, rock and folk, their new batch of songs ranges from ethereal moodiness to R&B-tinged country. Their biography material describes their most recent effort as exploring "emotional landscapes in all their joy, wonder and disillusionment." Blue Rodeo are Jim Cuddy, Greg Keelor, Bazil Donovan, Kim Deschamps, Glenn Milchem, and James Gray.
